1970s

After his initial induction into stardom in the 1960s, the 1970s gave Donny the opportunity to refine his showmanship. Donny first focused on recording and performing with the Osmonds, during which time they recorded several chart topping hits, including "One Bad Apple", "Puppy Love" and "Go Away Little Girl." Donny then went on to collaborate with Marie on the award winning variety show, the "Donny & Marie Show."

This album was with out a doubt...the album that showcased the Osmond's amazing talents. It was so under rated at that time. The guys wanted to 'branch' out and let people know exactly what they were about....and from what I understand...the record company did not want the guys to "tarnish" that bubble gum pop image.

It was very sad that most people never got to hear this side of the Osmonds!

This is arguably the best Osmond album I think crazy horses and the plan are equally fantastic albums underated in my opinion and deserve to be counted up there with the best bands of that period.

So many fond memories, sharing the music with friends. Loved it then and still do now.

I still have the original L.P. which I purchased in Glasgow, Scotland with my parents. I was aged 9. This was such an exciting time and I got to see the Osmond's live at the Glasgow Apollo, i will never forget this. Thanks to all the Osmond's for this special time in my life.

I'd like to know how Donny was involved in this album, being quite young at the time. :) Anybody knows?
