Question: You touched on this subject before but I wonder how you manage to be in the world but not OF the world?
Response: I found that by never forgetting my morning and evening prayers, by studying the scriptures daily, and by constantly associating with good people otherwise I can avoid the temptations the world has to offer. I have made many commitments to God concerning the way I will live my life. Of necessity I must make my honor greater than my moods, since no one can lie to God, and be happy.
Seek good friends, read good books, avoid pornography in all of its forms, and pray about all of this constantly to your Father in Heaven, even keep a prayer in your heart throughout each day and the Lord will bless you. I hope this is helpful to you.
