Question: I just wanted to say that I have been a member my whole life. Yesterday, I watched Oprah with the family on and when you and Marie said that you know that you are an eternal family, it just felt right. It was one of those fast and testimony meeting moments where you are reminded of your beliefs and how much they really are true.
Response: As you know, we had just buried our dad and in such times the Comforter, the peaceful presence of the Holy Ghost, is very strong. Isn't it wonderful that we have the gospel in our lives for these kinds of difficult moments. A conviction of the eternal family that is assured by temple ordinances is a wonderful thing.
