If you knew someone has done something wrong and you knew before, during, and after the fact, would you be held accountable?
|
| Response |
You asked about the LDS belief in the situation that "if you knew someone has done something wrong and you knew before, during,
and after the fact, would you be held accountable?" Our Father in Heaven will hold nobody accountable for things which they cannot control. Our loving Heavenly Father has given all men and women on this earth free agency. If we know that someone is doing wrong and we have a relationship with them which would allow us to help change the course they are on, we surely should do it in order to help them and the others that they might be injuring. It seems to me that unless we were "enabling" them to do wrong or evil, the Lord does not hold us accountable.
You also asked if Mormons believe in Hell. We believe there is a place called Hell, or outer darkness, in which Satan and all of his followers will spend the eternities.
Sincerely,
Donny Osmond
