| Question |
Are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints allowed to remarry upon death of a believing spouse? If so, would a man or woman have two spouses in the Kingdom of God? Would the second marriage also be deemed an 'eternal marriage'?

You asked if members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are allowed to remarry upon the death of a spouse? Would a man or a woman have two spouses in the kingdom of God? Would this second marriage be deemed an eternal marriage?
First of all, members of the church are allowed to remarry upon the death of a spouse. As you have learned, if a man remarries and the woman he marries was not already sealed to another man eternally in the temple, that man would be sealed to both of these women. But, if a man marries a widowed woman who had previously been married and sealed in the temple, this new marriage would be for the duration of this life only and she would be with her first husband in the eternities.
