I HAVE JUST READ YOUR ANSWER TO THE QUESTION ON, LIVING IN "HEAVEN" BEFORE WE CAME TO EARTH, OR BEING BORN AS YOU PUT IT.... WELL WHAT ABOUT READING THE SCRIPTURE FROM "1CORINTHIANS CH15 VERSES 40 AND 46 "?

You asked what I believe happens to us when we die. This actually could be quite a long answer, but I will try and be brief for the purposes of this page. When we die, just like all men and women who have ever lived on the earth or who ever will live on the earth, our spirits are taken home to that God who gave us life. The spirits of those who have lived righteously are received into a state of happiness that is called Paradise. It is a state of rest and peace in which there is no more trouble, sorrow, or care. If they have not had the opportunity to hear and understand the gospel of Jesus Christ while on the earth, Christ will send His messengers to them to teach them that gospel. There, just like all men and women on the earth who have had the opportunity, they too will have the opportunity to accept or reject the gospel message. Those who die in a state of evil or wickedness will be subjected to "the buffetings" of Satan for a period of time. Finally, all men or women whether they were good or evil, will have the glorious opportunity to receive their resurrected body. Just as Christ was resurrected from the dead, so too shall we all be resurrected and receive a place in His kingdom depending on how we lived our lives while on this earth as judged by our Savior. As Christ said, "In my Father’s house are many mansions…" And so it is that each of us will receive an eternal reward based on our faithfulness while we were in our mortal existence.
