| Question |
Will we know each other in heaven as we do now? (My father, mother, brother). What if a member of the family doesn't make it to heaven?
|
| Response |
You asked if people will know each other in heaven as they do now and what if a family member doesn’t make it to heaven? First of all, those who will make it to the highest degree of glory where our Heavenly Father dwells will be those who have accepted Christ as their Savior. They show this by the way that they live their lives. Specifically, not only do they take upon themselves the name of Jesus Christ, but they also take upon themselves the burdens of others. They live kind and charitable lives. They lift and bless others. If they should commit any sin or transgression, they fully and completely repent of those things.
By accepting the gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness and living such a life as I have outlined above, we will qualify for a place in our Father’s kingdom. Those who cannot accept those truths and live their life in that way will not.
Sincerely,
Donny Osmond
