I am so very sorry that you are suffering so much. As you are probably aware, I have had times when I suffered with some of the same debilitating ailments myself. These are no fun, are they? There are, of course, medical remedies for these conditions which can greatly help, but the best answer for you may be to learn the truth about your purpose of this life.
Do you think that our Heavenly Father knows why he created this spectacular universe, why he placed our first parents and has sent us kicking and crying into mortality without memory of our spiritual relationship with him. Do you think he has a purpose and a plan for us and that he hopes it will lead us back to his presence in a state of boundless joy and peace. I submit to you that he does know and further, that he is a loving father who cares for you and for me with a love beyond our comprehension.
Our Heavenly Father has repeatedly invited us to have faith in him or trust him enough to come to him in prayer to request answers to these questions: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." (James 1:5 - 6) "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" (Matthew 7:7)
Now in addition to asking, note that the Lord invites us to seek and knock. This means to do our part to study and learn and to exercise the faith and courage to try to find out the purpose of our existence. If you will embark on a genuine quest with an open heart and mind and not let the falsehoods and attitudes of the world get in your way, you will be the recipient of your own personal revelation from the Holy Spirit: "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:26 - 27)
It seems that a part of the plan, is that we must take the first steps but he is waiting to help: "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." (Revelation 3:20 - 22)
It is not all that popular a thing to do as most are caught up in the things of this world and that is why he said: "ΒΆ Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." (Matthew 7:13 - 15)
