Question I know that you aren't supposed to watch R rated movies as a general rule. In reviewing movies as part of your profession, have you ever watched a PG-13 movie that you thought should've been rated R? From the trailers I see on TV, as a private every day individual, I think most should be. On the other side of the spectrum, there are very few PG-13 movies that I think should've been rated G. That new one by Jodie Foster (Nim's Island) is a prime example.

Funny, I sometimes notice the same thing happening for old movies (even our own era when we were kids...I'll be 46 in August) depending on the channel and/or time of day, even the day of the week. What was R (or X) back then is PG-13 now. (I actually walked out on Aliens…that's the worse movie ever as far as I'm concerned!)

Response I wholeheartedly agree with you that the rating system is becoming more lax along with other moral standards of our society. I hope our families can survive the onslaught.

For this reason, I'm am developing some wonderful ideas for donny.com members that you will see in the very near future on my site. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm thinking about becoming my own Robert Ebert. :-)

Sincerely,

Donny Osmond
