I am sorry that your mum was taken from you at such a young age. I lost my mother not long ago and have learned first hand how difficult it is to lose a parent.

I am comforted to know that we will be with our loved ones again in the life hereafter. I am aware of thousands of recorded accounts of people who have come near to death, in fact have died and were aware that they were separated from their bodies before they were resuscitated. In many of these accounts, they tell of being greeted by Jesus and also by loved ones in the world of spirits. They almost universally tell of the great feelings of love that prevailed there and how they never feared death again.

These accounts certainly conform to the promises of life after death taught in the scriptures.
