Thank you for your question.
"We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost." (Articles of Faith 1:1) The Jehovah Witness, as near as I
can tell by reviewing their web site, believe that Heavenly Father is
Jehovah, creator of all things, and that Jesus was created of him in the spiritual life before this and was begotten of him on this earth. I could
find no clear explanation of what they believe concerning the Holy Ghost.
We believe that " ...we are the offspring of God", (Acts 17:29) all of us and
that he is "...Father of spirits...". (Hebrews 12:9) We believe that Jesus was
"the firstborn of every creature" (Colossians 1:15) in that spirit realm
and was called and given power to create the worlds and it was him "...by whom
also he [God our Heavenly Father] made the worlds;" (Hebrews 1:2) We say
that Jehovah was the name by which Jesus was known in this pre-mortal life.
The Holy Ghost, a third member of the Godhead, is a personage of spirit like
we all were before we were born and that he has a special calling to be the
"Comforter and Spirit of Truth", (John 14:16, 17, 26) who would help the
honest seeker discern spiritual truth. (see 1 Corinthians 2:9-14)
Michael Jackson, for a time belonged to Jehovah Witness but I am not sure he
belongs to that, nor his brothers and sister. My brothers and sister are
all devout Mormons.
I believe that our family's most important goal is to live so we can be
together forever. I believe that goal is possible by following Jesus Christ
and by living up to the covenants we made in the temple.
Thanks for the email.
Sincerely,
Donny Osmond
