You’ve asked about how people come "recommended" to enter the temple. The temple is a very sacred place and only those who have received a recommend from their priesthood leaders can enter and worship there, and participate in the sacred ordinances that are part of the temple experience. Consequently, there are even members of the church who do not qualify for a recommend. You can imagine how disruptive it would be if people with casual curiosity were wandering through the temple in the midst of the various ordinances and worship activities.
The way that a person can gain a temple recommend is by being a faithful and worthy member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. If, by chance you would like to know how to do that, I would be happy to ask a couple of representatives of our church to contact you to explain what we believe and why. After you have heard what they have to say, you can determine for yourself whether it would be worth pursuing.

Footnote from Bev:
When a new Temple is constructed an Open House is held, all members and non-members are invited to go to the Open House to tour the Temple building and learn more, before it is dedicated to the work of the Lord. After a sacred dedication ceremony is held, only those who have interviewed with their Bishop and Stake President and have been found worthy to get a Temple Recommend, can go inside to do the work. All LDS members and non-members can attend regular Church services on the Sabbath in our local chapels.
Sincerely,
Donny Osmond
