I hope things are going well for you. I just wanted to share a scripture with you and to ask you to keep me advised on how you are doing. The scripture is: "But, behold, the righteous, the saints of the Holy One of Israel, they who have believed in the Holy One of Israel, they who have endured the crosses of the world, and despised the shame of it, they shall
inherit the kingdom of God, which was prepared for them from the foundation of the world, and their joy shall be full forever." (Book of Mormon | 2Nephi 9:18)
Please let me know how things are going.
I am excited to learn that you are
meeting with the missionaries. I know itmust be hard to imagine that Christ has restored his own church to theearth, that again there are apostles and
prophets on the earth as there werein his ancient church. It has always been difficult in any age for peopleto accept prophets who receive guidance
from the Lord. May I encourage you to "Ask and ye shall receive, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you." (Matthew 7:7) I am
confident thatif you can study and pray with an open heart, the Lord will inspire you of the truth. I have received a strong personal conviction, that
The Church ofJesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's true church and that the prophets and apostles are his true spokesmen on the earth today. I
havestudied The Book of Mormon and prayed about it and deeply feel that it is the word of God as revealed to prophets in Ancient America. It is as
it surports, Another Testament of Jesus Christ. I believe it is worth any effort to find the truth, but it is worth it allto know where we came from,
why we are here, where we are going after death and what we must do to best prepare for that event. Let me know what you decide. I am praying with you
Sincerely,
Donny Osmond
