Beliefs > Question & Answer > The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Question Generally speaking, what are the basic LDS views toward Protestant Churches? I mean, what does your church believe will happen to Protestants? And why?

Response Thank you for the question. Sorry for the delay in answering. We have been working on a presentation that I feel will explain our position relative to other churches in a multimedia format. I believe that all people on the earth will be judged by the life they live and I also believe the standard was set by Christ. I realize that there are many who are not followers of Christ and I'm sure that they will all be rewarded as they live by true principles, but I personally hold to the belief that the Lord Jesus Christ is the author of salvation.
