Thank you for your Question. There was a group of people called the Nephites who kept the scriptural record now entitled "The Book of Mormon". They lived from 600 BC to about 421 AD. In the years leading up to 421 AD their enemies who were then called the Lamanites, completely destroyed the Nephite nation. Incas are some of the descendants of those Lamanites. They formed a civilization spreading from Ecuador to Chile that was conquered by the Spanish in the middle 1500's.
You may be interested to know that the Aztecs were also descendants of the Lamanites. Maybe you remember in your world history classes, the account of the Spanish conqueror, Cortez coming to Mexico, and Montezuma and his followers thinking he was the bearded white God who had once visited that land and who had promised to return. The Book of Mormon account of Christ's visit to the Nephites just after his resurrection 34 AD explains the origin of that Aztec belief.
If you are interested, we could arrange for you to have a copy of the Book of Mormon. Just let me know and I'll send you one.
Sincerely,
Donny Osmond
