Ever since I started the "My Beliefs" section of my web site, my testimony and knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ has grown tremendously. Many of these questions require a lot of thought and research which, of course, is a learning experience. Even though I emphasize that I'm not an official spokesperson for the LDS church, I try my best to give the right answers because some people may take what I say and use it as official Mormon theology.
When you ask if I've been surprised or shocked, yes, I have. However, the questions that surprise me are usually ones that arise out of personal interpretations of scripture, misquotes or misunderstandings of a quote or scripture that has been taken out of context.
It has been said that "a lie can travel half way around the world, before the truth has a chance to get it's shoes on" but I am strengthened in seeing that the truth will prevail.
