First of all, let me say that I'm not a dream expert by any means. But I do think there are two kinds of dreams.
1. There are those that are generated in the sub-conscience from our experiences. These are usually confusing and a little incoherent and are often quickly forgotten. I believe they are not necessarily given to us from any spiritual source.
2. There are more rare dreams that come in the form of revelation. They contain a message. They are clear and spiritual and will remain clear in our memories, maybe even throughout life.
Many of the prophets in the scriptures have received divine revelation through dreams. So yes, I do believe in dreams as long as we understand their origins.
