I am so sorry to learn of your suffering over the loss of your son. I cannot even imagine how difficult it must be.
It's very difficult to respond with anything very specific, not knowing anything about the circumstances, but let me try to share some of my beliefs and I hope I may give you a little comfort.
I believe that through reading the scriptures and praying, one can draw closer to the Lord who makes this offer:
"If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever... But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you".
(New Testament | John 14:14-15, 26 - 27)
"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
(New Testament | Philippians 4:7)
I have met many who have lost loved ones and I have come to believe that the relationship with the Lord is not only the best solution, it may be the only real solution to overcoming the deep sorrow of such loss. He does have a miraculous way of healing.
I pray that you will be able to receive the peace and comfort you need.
Sincerely,
Donny Osmond
