You have misunderstood my response about the angel spoken of in Revelations 14: 6-7. He will not be carrying a
different gospel. He will be carrying that very same gospel that Jesus preached while he was here upon the earth. It
is the everlasting gospel and it will never again be taken from the earth. It is precisely that same gospel that he
preached and instituted in his church when he organized it in the meridian of time, but was taken from the earth
when the members of Christ's church fell into a state of apostasy.
What we believe about the end of times is that we are now in the "Latter-days", meaning the last days of the earth.
Naturally, we do not know the day, time or year that Christ will return to the earth. We do recognize some of the
"signs of the times" and we know that compared to the seven thousand years of mans existence since Adam was
placed upon the earth, we are definitely in the last days. Whether that means that it will be 20, 50, or 100 years
before Christ comes, I believe that it will not be long compared to the seven thousand years of mans existence.
You asked if the church would be here to endure Anti-Christ. Not only will it be here... it already is. As we look
around at all of the evil in the world, including the recent terrorist attacks, all of the anti-family movement that we
see around us, and countless other hedonistic things that the world presents to us, we can see the evidence of the
Anti-Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will endure all of this and will be here and growing ever
stronger between now and the time that the Savior will come again. I hope that this is helpful.
Sincerely,
Donny Osmond
