Question After reading this page what Donny is really saying is he believes in polygamy for eternity?? He states that he would be sealed to both wives for eternity?? So Mormons don't believe in polygamy in this life but they do in the next??

Response The doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is; that men and women should be married only to one spouse. That is clear.

What is absolutely not clear is whether all of Heavenly Father's children who inherit the Celestial Kingdom will be asked to live the law of plural marriage in the same way that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses did when they were on the earth in ancient times. I know that my Heavenly Father is in control of the eternities.

I have the utmost faith that he would not ask of me anything that would be contrary to eternal happiness either to my lovely wife or to me. I hope that this is helpful to you.

Sincerely,

Donny Osmond
