Question

My question is about animals... you never hear anyone say where our beloved animals go when they pass away. I was at the vet last week and this lady had to put her bird to sleep, and she was really upset... she asked me if I thought that animals have a place in heaven... and I told her that yes I did think that animals went to heaven... after all God created animals just like he created us, and therefore I thought that he would take care of them also. What is your feeling about this?

We believe that all forms of life will come up in the resurrection in their destined order or sphere of creation in the enjoyment of the eternal felicity. In other words, there will be a place in God's kingdom for all of His creations including the animals, the birds, and the fishes. The difference will be that there will be no enmity between man and beast, but that they will live harmoniously throughout the eternities.
