As you are learning, this is a very tough industry especially
for those who are trying to come in for the first time. It takes a lot of work and you have to be patient with the process.
Keep knocking on those doors and if your songs are good enough then the right person will hear them and the publishing
opportunity will come. Be objective about you writing though. Sometimes people get so caught up in their own little world
and lose perspective on what's good or what is current. Get to know people in the publishing world. Sometimes they can hook
you up with other talented writers to co-write with.
You told me that "my music made you remember that once your life was pretty good and that it can be again if you make wise
choices in the future". You told me that your sister married a man who was raised in the Mormon faith and that they have
treated you very well and that without your sister and brother-in-law you wouldn’t have come this far.
I am so pleased that things are working out so well in your life and that you are enjoying the love and companionship of
your sister and her family. Isn’t it great to know people who have the pure love of Christ in their lives and who find
genuine pleasure in helping others.
I assure you that in spite of some of the stumbling mistakes of the past, God love you He knows who you are and he
knows you infinitely well. He has known you for eons of times and has loved you for all of that time. He created your
spiritual self and sent you to this earth so that you could come to know about the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus
Christ. He loves you unconditionally and is anxious to bless you. Don’t forget that. It matters that you are on this earth.
It may be that your sister has already suggested this, but if she has not please allow me to ask if I could send two
representatives of our church to visit with you. I would like them to explain to you exactly what we believe and why and
how the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ can take from you all of your mistakes, transgressions, and pain. I promise you
that He will do that. Then I would like these two representatives to explain to you exactly how and why that is so. Once
you have a chance to hear their message you will know precisely whether you should pursue it or not. If you would like them
