You've given me a difficult question because there are so many great and wonderful things to say about the restored gospel
of Jesus Christ, and, as you know, from the things that you've already heard, there is so much that could be said. In
answer to your question, to say only one thing, it would be the very same thing that Moroni said to us in the concluding
chapter of the Book of Mormon, which is chapter 10:4-5: "And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that
you would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Jesus Christ if these things are not true, and if you will ask with a
sincere heart, with real intent having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you by the power of the Holy
Ghost and by the power of the Holy Ghost, ye may the truth of all things."
It is my testimony to you that the gospel message which you are hearing from these missionaries is true. Joseph
Smith is a prophet. He saw what he said he saw and his experiences are actual. The Book of Mormon is the word of God.
This Church is Christ's true Church, restored to the Earth in these latter days. The teachings and doctrines of this
Church are His doctrine. All of the precepts and teachings of
the Church, from keeping the commandments to being married in the temple, provide you with the road map and compass you
need to know how to get back to the presence of God at the end of your life. There is a prophet on the earth today that walks
and talks with God and receives direction from Him for our spiritual well being. I hope this is helpful to you.
Sincerely,
Donny Osmond
