Dear Donny,
I was wondering, I have read testimonies from various people in your Faith
claiming that LDS Church is the only "true" Church. My question is, what
about the rest of us? The ones who believe that Jesus Christ died for our
sins, do the best to follow the Bible and 10 Commandments, but belong to a
different denomination. In your Church's eyes are we not going to the Kingdom
of Heaven as well? What is your Church's view on this? It is something that
has been troubling me. Thanks :)

Simply stated The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the same church that Christ organized during His ministry in Jerusalem and which the apostles carried
forward after His crucifixion and resurrection. It is the same organization restored to this earth in these last days, it has a foundation of apostles and prophets with Jesus
Christ being the chief cornerstone. The doctrine and ordinances of the church are the same as those taught by our Lord and Savior when He was on the earth. The
priesthood power which Christ gave to His apostles is again upon the earth, all of this through a prophet whom God called as His representative on the earth in these last
days.
We believe that other Christian churches do great good because they invite men and women to "come unto Christ." We believe that much of what they teach is vital and
good as they seek to build the kingdom of God and we invite all of them to bring the best that they have and join with us to enjoy the fullness of Christ’s gospel.
We believe that when each of us leaves this earth we will be in paradise with Christ and His followers and if any have not had the chance to hear the fullness of the gospel
it will be taught to them there. (See 1 Peter 3:18-19 and 1 Peter 4:6) After everyone has had the chance to hear and understand the gospel, whether here on this earth or in
the spirit world, each of us will be judged according to what we know and what we have accepted. The degree of glory we obtain thereafter will be at Christ’s will and
according to what we have done on this earth. (See Matthew 7:21-23 and James 2:14-20) I hope this is helpful to you regarding what we believe.
