My perspective on this is that the kingdom of God was fully established on the earth when Christ came and ministered to the people in
the meridian of time. Because of apostasy and a changing of His doctrines over the next 300 years, the necessity was developed for
which was prophesied about by Paul and by Christ Himself, that in the last days would come a "restoration of all things." Therefore, in
these latter days, God’s kingdom is once again on the earth. The gospel of Jesus Christ is here and taught in its fullness. When Christ
returns to the earth in His power and glory, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is the Christ, and the government of
the entire earth will be upon His shoulders.
In our prayers, therefore, if we are to follow Christ’s directive "after this manner, therefore, pray ye," we should include our request that
His kingdom will continue to spread throughout the world so that all of His children will hear and understand the message of the gospel.
Sincerely,
Donny Osmond
