| Question |
Donny - as a Catholic we believe that "He will come to judge the living and the dead".
1. Christ will judge every person at the time of his death. (Particular Judgment)
2. At the end of the world He will judge all mankind. (General Judgment)
3. For those who have already been judged in a particular judgment, the general judgment will confirm the particular judgment.
4. At the end of the world, all the evil doers will go to hell and all the just will be taken to heaven.
Behold, I am coming soon. I bring with me the recompense I will give to each according to his deeds. I am the Alpha and the
Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. (REV. 22:12-13)
On Judgment Day at the end of the world, Christ will come in glory to achieve the definitive triumph of good over evil which, like the
wheat and the tares, have grown up together in the course of history. When he comes at the end of time to judge the living and the
dead, the glorious Christ will reveal the secret disposition of hearts and render to each man according to his works and according to
his acceptance or refusal of grace. (Catechism of the Catholic Church, nos 681-682)
Is this also your belief?

I’m happy to tell you that that is my belief, and pleased that even though there are many doctrines upon which our two churches do not
agree, this is one that we specifically agree upon. I am grateful for that.
Sincerely,
Donny Osmond
