I have a question regarding your religion.
First, can you clarify a term that I have heard in discussions regarding The Church of Latter-day Saints? What does does a pre-mortal being mean? Are
we somewhere. a real place, before we are born and God gives us to parents? How does this relate in terms of children of biological parents versus
adopted parents? What does it mean in terms of DNA, genetics, etc. My husband and I have adopted 3 children, all at different ages.
I firmly believe
they were meant to be with us, a family.

Yes, we were some place before we came here. We lived in a pre-mortal state in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Our pre-earth life was a
schooling and a preparation for us as His spirit children, to prepare us to come to this earth. We knew something about the trials and tests which would be
required of us as we made our way through our earthly experience before we returned to His presence at the end of our lives.
You also asked how this relates in terms of children of biological parents versus adoptive parents, and what it means in terms of DNA genetics, etc. You
told me you had three adopted children, and that you firmly believe they were meant to be with you as a family.
What a blessing you are to those three adopted children of yours. What a charitable, Christ-like thing to do, to bring them into your family. I am confident
that our Heavenly Father knew that this would take place, and even told you that it would be part of your life to be a loving and a kind parent and to treat
these children as if they had been naturally born to you. I have no doubt that if you will continue to live such a Christ-centered life, you and your husband
and family will be together through the eternities. In fact, If you would like, may I send a couple of representatives of our church to explain in total what
we believe and why, so that you and your husband could determine for yourselves whether those things are worth pursuing. I believe they are, because
they explain to us why we’re here, where we came from before we lived on this earth, and where we are going after we leave this earth. If you would like
