How do you serve the lord in a church calling if you are so famous and busy. Do you get opportunities to help out in your church?

| Response |
Thank you for your March e-mail. You asked how I was able to serve in the church if I was so famous and busy. Well, I’m not sure how famous I am, but I am very busy. In spite of that, I have the great privilege and blessing of being home every Sunday, and I have been called in my ward as a Sunday School teacher. It is a privilege and blessing to me to have such a calling, and I hope that I make a difference in the lives of those who attend my class. I believe very much in the great statement of Jay Ruben Clark (formerly second counselor to President David O. McKay) who said, "In the church it is not where you serve, but how." Throughout my life, I have had many callings in the church, all of which were important to me,and I have done my very best to fulfill those callings.
Sincerely,
Donny Osmond
