Hi Laurie, sorry I haven't been back to you recently, but I haven't used the site for a while due to computer problems which I have had fixed now I'm pleased to say. I saw the Audience With show back in November and it coincided with the birth of my new nephew, Joseph. How's that for topical. Joseph is exactly two months old today and 1 week. He is a quite well behaved baby so my brother says. Sorry about not having pictures at this time but have not used my camera to take any as I haven't seen much of him. Happy New Year, Judith

Hi Laurie,

So, what did you think of Donny on Dancing with the stars ! I thought he was so great! He has natural talent for ballroom dancing ! I wish I could waltz with him, it would be so wonderful! They could do "Dancing with the fans....!" Have a nice day and I am waiting to hear from you soon!

Hi Laurie, sorry not to have got back to you earlier but I haven't been on this site for a while. I don't know where on the map of Chateauguay Drolet Street is but I am sure you can find it on a map either online or off. I should like to visit Canada one day to find out where my dad did his RAF training. So not only did my grandmother have an evacuee who later went to live where you live, but my father did his RAF training in Manitoba I believe. Love and Best Wishes Judith

That's ok, Laurie. I've been sort of busy too. My grandparents' evacuee came from Dagenham Essex and she lives in Drolet Street now with her husband Horst, and her name is Gloria, we still call her the "Cockney sparrer" even though she was from Essex. My grandmother was quite overwhelmed I think and my dad often wondered how she coped with two lively evacuees, not being the most domesticated person in the world. Interestingly enough, my brother is a teacher of English too and he teaches in the high school across the road from where I live. He is also the head of the department.
