Vegas Show Story: Had VIP tickets in Vegas! First time I was ever going to meet him and was excited beyond words. Awesome seats and show. I was second in line at the M&G. I was so thrilled to meet Donny in person for the first time I could not utter a word! Awful! I handed him my homemade purple teddy bear with purple M&M's I brought him as a gift and he signed my memorabilia but I wanted to talk and could not. Afterwards I was so upset I waited all my life to meet Donny and I could not say a word. I did not sleep that night just so mad I could not talk. So fate brought us together again for a second chance. The next night late (probably after his meet and greet)I was heading back up to my room at the Flamingo. I stepped into the elevator was another woman too and I walked to the rear and turned and who got on the elevator but DONNY!!! The other woman paid no attention. My heart was beating and I was so excited but could not speak again. Two meetings and both speechless. I even got off on my floor and did not follow him to see what floor he was getting off on. As soon as I stepped off and the doors closed I went crazy jumping up and down and just could not believe I had Donny right there and said nothing. A lifetime I waited to talk to him and nothing came out.. I froze do you believe it? So I decided I have to go back again. And this time words better come out of my mouth!
Saw Osmonds in the 70s then not again until now June 2010 front row and an unbelievable time when they came to NJ! Met Jay and Merrill and they are so sweet. I was with a friend who made me speak at least!
Hobbies/Interests: Donny.com, listening to Donny's music, scrapbooking, going to the beach, movies, reading and playing with my cat.
Been a Donny fan since 70s. I first saw the Osmond's at the Iowa State Fair. Never missed a D&M show, had all the albums and toys. Seen Donny in several concerts and sat front row as he played Gaston in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway which was great. Can't wait until I can return to Vegas again in June 2011!
