About Darlene
I grew up in North Carolina but moved to Utah in 1979. I met my husband that first month & we were married in the Manti Temple that summer - 2 months from the day we met! He is my sweetheart forever & an AMAZING man. We have a wonderful son & daughter & love their spouses so much. Our son has given us two adorable grandsons. I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 1975 - my husband was raised in the church.
I love digital scrapbooking and love to design & create hardback, archival books & other projects.

I love genealogy, reading, my computer stuff (when it works & cooperates with me!), studying & implementing emergency preparedness...and especially love Donny.com and the Osmond family!
My first Osmond concert was in the summer of 1971. I have been fortunate enough to see the Osmonds in various combinations over the years. Had a "dry spell" from 1991-2000 where family responsibilities & a lean budget prevented me from being able to see any of the Osmonds in person. But in 2001 I was able to start traveling again & have been trying ever since to make up for that dry spell! :) I have had so much fun seeing Donny at various appearances & making some wonderful friends through Donny.com. One highlight was getting to go to the UK for 2 of Donny's tours - the summer of 2004 and the autumn of 2005 - met so many wonderful fans & had a blast! Those were my only trips out of the USA, so will always cherish those memories.
When my husband joined the Army we left Utah & for the next 20 years his assignments took us to California, N.C., Arizona, Virginia & Georgia. He retired from the Army a few years ago & his job took us to our current home in northern Virginia. We hope to move back to Utah someday and end up where our family began!
