Hello my name is Carina, I am 48 years old and living in Mechelen( Antwerpen) Belgium I am a huge fan of Donny and the Osmonds family since I was 10 years old. I'm a member of the old Donny.com since 2007. In 2005 I went through some rough times,I needed an operation for an hysterectomie and through my operation the doctor discovered that I had endometriose and I was just in time saved from cancer.My recovery took 5 months and what me get through was Donny's music and Marie's book (Behind the smile).It would be a dream come through to see the show of Donny and Marie in Las Vegas.On 28 april 2010 atlast my dream came through I went on tour through the southwest of the USA for three weeks and on the 4th of may I arrived in LAS VEGAS and I went to so see Donny and Marie in the Flamingo on the 5th.It was the best night of my life,this was a dream come true because it was the first time in my life I ever saw my idool .He and Marie were just amazing.I was so pleased that I had a good seat although I didn't had a VIP ticket,but my seat was behind the VIP seats near the stage.I had such a good time that I'll will never forget a special when Donny shook my hand.I was sorry that we'll only stayed for two nights in LAS VEGAS.Thank you Donny you've had changed my life completly.

    Thanks so much for posting about my picture, it was such a great feeling to have him so close, love that man! I, like you, have been a fan forever, it seems. I am so glad that you were able to go to the show, wasn't it awesome? I have been 5 times now and I think I see something new each time...can't wait for next year's GT, I hope it will be in August again, you should come!

    Hi Carina!!! Thank you for your message. I love your profile too, especially your picture. It brings me memories from when I was there. I visited last May 27th and saw the show on the 29th. It was incredible! I agree with you that Donny and Marie are AMAZING. I am so sad that I cannot go to the Get Together. I will make plans to try to go next year. Maybe you can come too!     Hi Carina, SO glad to hear that you had a great time visiting the USA and expecially getting to see Donny and Marie. That's so exciting. I have yet to get to see the D & M show but hoping to make it there soon, expecially since it isn't that far from me. I had seen Donny when he was performing alone in Vegas, but this is even better. Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself. I'm also a long time Omond/Donny fan since 1969. Kim

    I am so glad you made it through your challenges and are going to do something for yourself. If you haven't been to Vegas, it is really interesting...so much more to do than just gamble! The shows are amazing including D&M! Hubby and I are getting ready to go for the 5th time in 2 years. We are heading to the August gt and I can hardly wait! I agree, they are a family that helps you through the rough patches in life as they aren't afraid to talk about their own experiences, which makes them so real...
