Hi! I'm so excited to finally have joined. I hope to make lots of friends who love Donny too! I first heard his beautiful singing voice on the radio when I was 9 and I've loved him since. He was my first and only love for a few years after that - I had fallen hard and I was going to marry him. Obviously, it didn't matter that I wasn't able to go to any of the concerts and that he didn't even know I existed - yup, I was gonna marry that guy anyway. I treasure those sweet memories. Well, real life took over and I've been happily married now for 23 years to a terrific guy. We have an 18 yr old daughter and a 13 yr old son. They've been my life and though I enjoy every bit of it, I recently realized that I need to do things for me. This website is one of them! And meeting Donny would be a dream come true!!!! Update: I met him!! Aug 2010 during the GT weekend. He's more than I could ever have imagined! Thank you Donny for one of the most memorable times of my life!
I am also grateful for being one of 10 who were selected for Donny's M.A.D. program! My organization fundraises to bring education to girls ages 6-16 in the remote villages of the Bor area in Southern Sudan.
