About AntLondon
I first saw 'The Osmonds' on 'The Andy Williams Show' on TV and I fell in-love with Donny. :)
My first Osmond concert was in 1972 at The Rainbow Theatre in London. I had Row B but I couldn't reach Donny's hand. Yes, I was at The Churchill Hotel every night. And then at the Britannia Hotel in London in 1973.That was a half-term break, so there was no skipping school this time. I saw 'The Osmonds' again at Earl's Court in 1975 and The Rainbow Theatre in 1979. Then I grew up and got married to my childhood sweetheart and had 3 children. I taught full-time in a Primary School for 12 years, until I caught Glandular Fever and developed M.E. My life was at a 'stand still' and my bed and the telephone were my 'best friends'.
I then met Donny Friday 21st November 2003 backstage at 'The Terry and Gaby Show'. Since then, Donny and I have met several times in London, NYC and Las Vegas. I have seen Donny in concert in 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2007. But NYC will always be very special to me, as my son Vinnie and I went to see Donny in BATB 9th December 2006 for Donny's 49th birthday.
Eleven months later, on 5th November 2007 my son Vinne (21)who was in his third year at Cambridge University was knocked off his bicycle and killed. Donny's Father passed away the next day.
My heart was broken and I so needed Donny to just 'hold me' but we were miles apart. In May 2008 I met all 'The Osmonds' at Wembley Arena but I was in too much pain, so all I managed to say was 'hello'. I couldn't even tell them my name.
My hubby then decided to take me to see Donny and Marie in Las Vegas. On Friday 19th June 2009 Donny asked me up onstage and sang 'The Twelfth Of Never' to me. Donny made me 'smile' for 3 minutes. I was holding a red rose in my left hand and Donny was holding my right hand, as he sang to me. I adore Donny but then everyone on here already knows that. :)
