"This national best-selling book has become one of my favorites. The author, Gordon B. Hinckley, is a man who I respect very much. Not just for what he has done in his life, but also for how he approaches life with optimism and common sense.
"This book examines 10 virtues: Love, Honesty, Morality, Civility, Learning, Forgiveness and Mercy, Thrift and Industry, Gratitude, Optimism, and Faith. In my opinion, his insight to these basic truths and values are applicable to everyone, regardless of their ethnicity, or religious persuasion.
What he presents in his book is very timely with what is going on in the world today. It offers great advice for single individuals as well as parents who are trying to teach children basic principles of love, compassion and civility in a world that can be a hostile environment at times. It's a great standard to keep a marriage strong and firm. Communities would be safer and benefit greatly if the concepts in this book were followed. I highly recommend it to you and I hope you enjoy it."
