As I've traveled all over the world, the fact that I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has caused a lot of interesting questions. I've received so many letters and e-mails asking things like what are the basic beliefs of the Latter-Day Saints (Mormon). Some want to know how Debbie and I have been able to maintain a strong marriage over all these years while living in the world of show business. Others want to know how we've dealt with the challenges of raising a close and happy family in such difficult times. How do we maintain a balance between work and family life? Well, you know it's not always easy, but the following pages are my attempt to explain a way of life that helps answer these kinds of questions. It gives me stability in a world and in a business that can be uncertain, compromising and stressful. It's the pattern that gives me direction in life, and I hope that this information will help answer some of your questions.

Three Wishes Come True Thanks to Donny Osmond
Donny Osmond helped to make three wishes come true for Sister Carline Patterson of the Dalkeith Ward, Edinburgh Scotland Stake. Carline who is a devoted fan of pop legend Donny Osmond decided to invite her inactive son Paul and his girlfriend Nici to one of Donny's firesides last year. As a result of Donny's remarks, Paul decided to come back to Church and Nici wanted to learn more about our beliefs. Nici is now a member of the Church and Paul has recently received the Melchizedek Priesthood and is serving as Ward Young Men's president.

Some people have written in asking how they can find a nearby LDS church. We recently found this great resource on the official church site:
http://www.lds.org/basicbeliefs/meetinghouse/1,6017,352-1,FF.html. Another helpful page on the church site (
